Join hands to explore the new journey of chemical fiber industry: Anhui Paul Ying visited Tongkun Youshun production base

To benchmark advanced industry practices and optimize its production and management systems, Anhui Baoerying New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. recently organized its core team to visit the production base of Anhui Youshun New Materials Co., Ltd. (“Youshun”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tongkun Group. The visit aimed to “learn from strengths to fix weaknesses and drive improvement through learning” — a proactive step for Baoerying to deepen its presence in the chemical fiber sector and pursue high-quality development, as well as an opportunity to gain cutting-edge industry experience.

At Youshun’s base, the Baoerying team focused on its own development needs, guided by “identifying gaps, learning methods, and seeking breakthroughs”. Initially, they examined Youshun’s core advantage of being based in Lujiang: its location as a node of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the “Belt and Road Initiative”, plus the “water-rail-land” integrated logistics network (supported by the Xihe River Water Diversion Project, Lutong Railway, and expressways). Baoerying team members asked about logistics cost control and raw material transportation efficiency to inform its own supply chain optimization.

      In the production workshop, the Baoerying team studied Youshun’s modern facilities — including polyester workshops, spinning & packaging workshops, automated warehouses, and 7-meter-high automated fiber lines. They discussed details like winding precision and equipment inspection with Youshun’s technicians. Upon learning that Youshun’s world-leading polymerization and direct melt spinning technologies offer “large capacity, low energy consumption, and low emissions”, Baoerying (drawing on its own green circular production experience) explored the technology’s application in waste raw material recycling, solving some technical puzzles and clarifying its future production line upgrade direction.

In technological innovation and quality control, the Baoerying team showed strong initiative. They discussed Youshun’s “sustained R&D + industry-university-research cooperation” model, shared Baoerying’s R&D bottlenecks (e.g., “insufficient stability of high-value-added fibers”), and explored solutions like raw material ratio adjustment. They also studied Youshun’s quality control system — from raw material inspection on arrival, to in-production online monitoring, to third-party re-inspection before finished products are shipped — to refine its own quality processes.

The visit brought Baoerying substantial gains: it clarified improvement directions (automated production optimization, green manufacturing, full-chain quality control) and finalized actionable technical and management upgrade plans. These will support Baoerying’s efforts to boost production efficiency, control costs, and deepen green production, enhancing its competitiveness in the sector.

Notably, Baoerying aimed for “win-win cooperation and common development” during the visit, building mutual trust with Youshun. The two sides reached consensus on concepts like “technology sharing and market synergy”, and Baoerying proposed future cooperation in joint R&D and talent exchange. As fellow players in the chemical fiber industry, Baoerying plans to take this visit as a starting point to deepen ties with Youshun, leverage complementary strengths for breakthroughs in technology and markets, and contribute to both its own high-quality development and the industry’s coordinated progress.
